I've been trying to finish reading three interesting books about spiritual gifts, the office gifts and the end-time harvests. One book spoke about the creative miracles, healing and prophecies which is relevant and active today. The other book is about Prophets and Apostles, their importance in the restoration of the church while the last one speaks about the future of the saints.
I love reading these books because there are a lot to learn and unlearn. Here are a few insights I got when combined becomes present truth that we have to fully embrace so that all things prophesied will come to pass.
1. There is a coming time wherein all saints will minister in their own marketplace. They shall bear witness not just with words but signs and miracles following. It is an exciting season wherein those who felt left alone, ungifted and fearful shall be consumed by the passion and power of the Holy Spirit that all may come to know Christ.
2. The five-fold ministry gifts is part of the Church's nature ever since. It shouldn't be cataloged as something that will someday be restored. It is the full restoration of this truth that has to be restored. These are men and women of God called, set apart to equip the saints to that day of the saints.
3. God's nature is to bless and heal. He brings forth healing in different ways but we must believe, that He may restore all things. It is important to understand that the same Holy Spirit power is active, relevant and powerful today and since that day in Pentecost.
And yet for what purpose is it that these truths are relevant and sad to say, only a few moves in these season? The fear of men, doctrinal differences and cessation-ism brings this down to a truth from the past instead of today.
When all men would open up for this truth, we will see a bigger impact at this generations move for the great commission, people who are not just desperate about worship and music but an anointed ministers wherever they are and to see God desperately moving in their behalf.
