I shared this earlier at Soakers Service to the congregation and I believe this is a timely reminder of who our God is in every season of our lives:
The Lord says “ I have loved you with an everlasting love. You have seen this through the years even when there was a time that you don’t see it with your naked eyes. I have been faithful even when at times you became unfaithful. I have provided for you, protected you, cared for you all through the years.
Even before you were born, even when you were in your mother’s womb, I was there, I am your Lord and I shall be your protector, your shield in times of trouble, your provider in times of need.
I shall remain faithful, I will continue to love you and care for you even when trouble comes and when darkness appears.
You shall be my vessel of love to others that they may see my love and care for them. I will fulfill what I have promised and will remain faithful to my word. I have been faithful and will continue to do this to my people, to the church and to whom God has called for this season.
For in this season, the church, as my people shall be a vessel to show my love to the world, to show how I care and support the needy. It is for this reason that I have loved you that I have protected and provided for you….”
