Movie: Joseph, The Dreamer

As God is raising up men and women in this hour, we need to know how the forerunners before us have gone through. Below is the story of Joseph, the prince of Egypt. He was known because of his wisdom and gifts of dream interpretation.

Let's learn from him and see how God works in the background resulting in victory, restoration and blessing.

The Ephesians 4 Mandate

I love to play with kids. Their energy and enthusiasm in life makes me enjoy being in their presence. I also enjoy teaching them stuff, a lot of stuff, which later on they'd tell their parents about it. Spending time with them taught me to be more patient and be more mindful on how to teach lessons they can bring when they grow older.

Such is the way for anyone teaching in the prophetic. We are coming into a new season wherein believers are experiencing breakthroughs in their life, especially in their spiritual walk with the Lord. And it is important that in this great move of God, those whom the Lord has called to equip and train others must fully understand the importance of "baby steps".
"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." – Ephesians 4: 11-13
Let us take note of a few things that Paul mentioned to the church in Ephesus about the role of the five-fold ministers in the church should do. Here are a few things we can learn from it:
1. To Equip The Church For Service
"to equip his people for works of service…"
God placed men of authority over us to equip us for service. Whether we like it or not, men in position will hold the responsibility to train them, teach them to grow in their walk with the Lord and soon, be on his service.
Sad to say, there are only a few churches in the Philippines who are fully accustomed to this kind of mindset. Many of the churches here would focus on discipleship and evangelism but not on training and equipping.
Now, some of you might think that training is part of discipleship. I strongly believe that discipleship is different from training someone. I'd like to call our discipleship programs at church "grade school" level and the equipping as "high school" level wherein we allow them to flourish and apply what they're learning.
2. Build Up The Church's Faith, Knowledge and Maturity
"so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature..."
I enjoy going to other church's service, fellowship with other believers and just have fun. It's one way to build relationships and in fulfilling the call of Ephesians 4:11 which is to build up the whole body of believers. The 5 fold ministers are called to bring unity for maturity and growth for the bride of Christ. Let us consider our ways that we might fully understand why each other differs from our giftings, calling and even ministry styles.
It doesn't mean that since others are doing it differently, their ways are in error and questionable. God's uniqueness allows us to flourish freely, in the way He created his church to be.
It's this diversity that makes the body authentic and effective. God's main goal to bring in different gifts in the body of Christ to build people up and boost their confidence, grow in their relationship with the Lord, in their own giftings and ministry calling.
3. For the Church To Attain Christ-likeness In Its Full Measure
"attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ..."
God intended the church to grow and become like Christ, the groom. He has set an example for the disciples to follow. We must follow in their footsteps as well. The only way to reach the fullness of our Christian life is when we unite, grow and understand our maker better and mature through the working of the Holy Spirit.
It all boils down back to those who are placed on top. The five fold ministers are called to minister in their capacity to bring unity and not chaos, to build up and establish Christ's kingdom work and not build their own ministries and to attain Christ-likeness and not our own selfish woes and ambitions.
Why talk about Ephesians 4 as an introduction to the prophetic?
Because it is important to understand that we are called to equip the saints, bring balance to the work of the kingdom and draw men and women to Christ, stir them up for service and work their way up for ministry.
And like kids, they will only do what they are told to do. They will only follow what the older folks are doing and they will only understand when they grow older. Unless the church fully understands that there is more than just what church does, it should make disciples who works, moves and is activated in the same way as what Acts records.
May the Lord continue to raise up leaders and ministers who has the heart of Christ and desire to bring unity in the whole body of believers. May we all be counted for such a time as this!

How to Measure a Prophet

Article below came from Charisma Magazine and it's very beneficial to understand how the prophet, the prophetic people and the word needs to have  a common ground. I believe the common ground, as my previous article about the Prophetic people, is God's infallible word found in the bible.

By: Michelle McClain

Before the prophet can fully and accurately walk in this plumb line anointing, he or she must first be measured. There is such a high level of evil and false teaching in the earth that the prophet must be found right and judged in the eyes of the Lord. If a prophet has not been measured, he or she risks ministering from a place of deception.
God assures His people that He will release prophetic direction and great power to them. They will understand God’s heart and plans. The saints will prevail against deception at that time. In Revelation 10 God promised to raise up prophetic messengers. These prophets will have been tested and measured by the Lord before bringing understanding that helps people avoid deception. This passage is important for prophets and prophetic people to study.
In Revelation 10:9-11 the prophet is admonished to take the book, to eat the book, and then prophesy. Eating the book means embodying the message. The prophet and the message must be one. The message must go deep into the prophet’s spirit before he can have authority to deliver it. The prophet must get intimately acquainted and become the message that God has given him to deliver. The prophet is the message, and the message is the prophet; they become one. The word of God that has been digested becomes the plumb line. The Word of God is the final authority in life whereby everything is measured.
Matthew tells us that in the last days the very elect will be deceived (Matt. 24:24). The thing about deception is that you don’t always know how off you are. The devil starts releasing confusion in your mind, and you start saying a certain issue is complex and questioning what God says was absolutely wrong. You begin to  think that maybe it is right. The power of deception is the person thinks he is right. You cannot convince a deceived person that he’s off.
But when you’ve been measured by God and you are faced with those same issues, you can confidently say, “No, devil, that is deception.” The Word of God becomes your measuring rod or plumb line. Prophets must be careful to stay humble before God so that they can remain sensitive to the measuring of God. As a prophet what you say matters. People adjust their lives to your words. You must know that the Lord is your portion and that you have been sent from the presence of the Lord; therefore you must deliver His words the way He said them, with His expression. Prophets must understand the power of words. I have seen prophets and prophetic people make decisions and say things that create a domino effect for years, and people’s lives are destroyed.
An understanding of the burden of the prophetic call can help to maintain the prophetic measuring rod or plumb line. Revelation 10:11 states, “You must prophesy again” (nkjv). This is unique language for our generation. Many things in the earth will not happen unless the prophets speak, declare and announce.
God is watching over His words to fulfill them. Prophets and prophetic believers must prophesy to the heavens, prophesy to the destiny of families,
prophesy to the government, prophesy to the kings and people of the earth. Let the prophets speak!

An Insight To What God Is Doing In Bacolod

I joined a prophetic activation seminar yesterday and saw a lot of people being activated to prophesy.

Reminded by what I shared to another minister about what the Lord shared to me for Bacolod last September 2, I'm sharing it here now and I hope someone from Bacolod would read this and claim the land for HIS GLORY!

"I believe that God is preparing Bacolod for a season of harvest. It is a season wherein the sugarcane shall bring forth its sweetness and the aroma of the Lord shall overflow in the land.

It is also a season wherein the masks are unfolded and true nature of people shall be in the light. Do not be afraid when brokenness comes because it is an opportunity to reveal the love of God in the lives of those He has called.

For it has come to pass when God is stirring the eyes of the blind and has opened spiritual understanding for the unfolding of his plans for this city, in this province for such a season.

Surely, God has positioned men and women who shall not only stand up to what is right but also spearhead the season of fruitfulness and blessing for the years to come. This favor shall come from the Lord as he will raise new breed of men and women who will be in authority.

"Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!" – Psalms 90:17

For God is preparing something good, preparing a table before men and God is stirring his church to align to what he is doing in the province. He is positioning the ministers to equip the church for works of service, to stir and bring forth the harvesters of this season.

God is installing the prophetic voices of the season to prepare the way of the Lord, to understand times and seasons, to hear what God is saying to the churches and precede the coming move of God.They shall speak in the anointing like Elijah and walk in the life of Jeremiah.

"Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace." – Romans 11:5

"But now for a brief moment favor has been shown by the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant and to give us a secure hold within his holy place, that our God may brighten our eyes and grant us a little reviving in our slavery." - Ezra 9:8

They’re voice will cry out and they will stand for what is right but fear will not keep them. They shall overcome the trials through the blood of the Lamb.

"They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death." – Revelations 12:11

And they shall continue to speak and declare God’s grace, become a voice in the wilderness and prepare the coming of the King of glory!

Thus says the Lord of hosts: “They shall glean thoroughly as a vine the remnant of Israel; like a grape-gatherer pass your hand again over its branches.” Jeremiah 6:9"

May the Lord confirm this word and may He establish what He has spoken.

Amen,amen!
